The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood

After a deadly quarrel near Nottingham, Robin Hood is forced into outlawry and takes refuge in Sherwood Forest. There he gathers other men who have been hurt by hunger, greed, or injustice, and together they become a merry band. The story follows Robin’s friendship with Little John, his bold clashes with the King’s men, and the growing legend of his skill with the bow. It ends with Robin’s final journey to Kirklees Nunnery, where betrayal brings a solemn close to his adventures, while his mercy and loyalty remain at the heart of the tale.
